We invite highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our fast-growing Tax Management Consulting team, playing a critical role in the transformation of tax and invoicing processes for global and local clients.

Companies are facing day-to-day challenges in managing the rapidly changing tax reporting landscape where digital and real-time data is becoming an increasingly important asset. In the role of Tax Technology & E-invoicing Consultant, you will work with clients to design, build and implement E-invoicing strategies, supported through efficient processes, e-invoicing technologies and data management solutions. You will be analyzing client’s tax processes, identifying tax technology and data needs and providing insights on how to improve processes and implement technologies.

Afdeling
The Tax Management Consulting (TMC) team within Meijburg & Co advises clients on the organization of the tax function with a specific focus on tax technology & data management, tax risk management and compliance (out)sourcing.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Together with your team, you will partner with client’s tax and finance teams to identify and clearly articulate (functional) E-invoicing requirements;
Advising on global e-invoicing strategy – guiding clients on compliance, budgeting, and implementation;
Help supporting with the selection of fit-for-purpose solutions to meet client needs;
Evaluate and document current and future state tax compliance and reporting processes;
Identify E-invoicing compliance and automation needs;
Work with implementation teams to implement e-invoicing technologies in line with the client’s requirements, timeline and budget. Strong focus is put on transforming the clients finance and tax functions, data strategy and system integrations;
Alliance management – working with e-invoicing service providers and technology partners to develop strategic solutions and collaboration models.

Wie ben jij?
Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with a background in e-invoicing technology, strategy or regulations and good awareness of end-to-end invoice processing awareness. Background in indirect taxes, complemented by a profound interest and/or experience in technology is also welcomed. Beyond e-invoicing and indirect tax and expertise, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic colleague with a strong personality, an innovative mindset and a fresh perspective. Additionally, you are communicatively skilled and service-oriented.

Daarnaast beschik je over

A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in: Tax Technology; Tax Law; Tax Economics; Information Management; Data Management; Computer Science and/or Econometrics;
At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
A proficient command of the English and/or Dutch language, both spoken and written;
Knowledge of and/or experience with e-invoicing software providers, PEPPOL as well as data management, analysis and visualization techniques and platforms (e.g. MS Power BI, Alteryx/KNIME, Snowflake) is a plus;
Knowledge of and/or experience with tax technology projects, tax engines and/or ERP systems like SAP is a plus;
Knowledge of or affinity with indirect tax (compliance) processes;
